The Ural Cossacks Choir sings religeous songs, mainly from the Russian-orthodoxe liturgy, that are sung in the Church-Slavonic language
Well knowm composers of these songs are a.o. Dmitry Bortniansky, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Sergei Rachmaninov, Alexander Gretchaninov and Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov.

Besides that the choir sings folk songs from ancient Russia at the times of the tsars.

At concerts and CD-recordings the folk songs are accompanied, if possible, by original Russian or Ukrain instruments.
